THE GREATEST SERMON ON HUMILITY BY JOHN THE BAPTIST

The greatest statement of Humility from John the Baptist;

“*He must increase, but I must decrease.”*

‭‭John‬ ‭3:30‬ ‭

At a point where people begun to leave him to follow Jesus and his disciples sought to incite him against the messiah . After All, they saw him baptizing Jesus and so they thought he should be bigger than Him. But John rather gave the greatest and shortest sermon on Humanity; “He must increase and I must decrease “

Would you exalt Jesus beyond yourself and personal desires today ? Would you walk the way of Christ ? Would you be like Jesus submit to the divine will of God even to the point of dying on the cross? (Philip 2:5-11)

God resist the proud but give grace to the humble James 4:6.  God’s grace is supplied in abundance to those who follow his will in obedience and humility.

“And no one could deny the fact that the one who has the power to impart a blessing is superior to the one who receives it. –”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Therefore it is imperative that we walk the way of humility to access all the blessings of God.

Therefore , “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Hope this blessed you ?

JUSTIFICATION IN CHRIST

To be justified is simply to be declared just or right. It is a legal term signifying acquittal from any charges or offends that were leveled against someone. Hence to be justified is to be declared righteous in the sight of God.  The Bible makes us understand that, this blessing was bestowed on us through the work of Jesus Christ, “who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Now in plain language “Jesus was handed over to be crucified for the forgiveness of our sins and was raised back to life to prove that he had made us right with God!” Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭TPT‬‬.  So you see, Jesus’s main work on earth was to make us right with God! He came to break the barrier of sin that separated us from God and to establish a new relationship between us and the father, on his account,  not on ours! This this the big deal. And He truly finished it.  “One man’s(Adam’s) disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also o

The Gospel of Grace

*The Gospel is also called the Grace of Christ(Gal 1:6). * *You know what, because all that Jesus did for us on the cross can be encapsulated into just one word GRACE! * *Now do yourself some good, by giving yourself some grace too.* JESUS DIED FOR YOU. ©️Aps Clem
