Humility

 HUMILITY;

One of Life's Greatest lessons that God is still teaching us all here on earth.

As we go through life, one of the things that God will be teaching us is HUMILITY.

Yes, we will learn humility till we depart from this earth, because that is one of the greatest lessons we all need to learn in our walk with God.

You see, the opposite of humility is Pride or boasting, and this is one thing that is an abomination to God(Prov 6:17a; 16:5).

God from day one of our salvation, sought to deliver us all from this sickness called pride or boasting. This is the more reason why salvation is the Free gift of God. Read Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.(so we can say that, the main reason why God wants salvation to be a free gift is so that, no man can boast about it).

Have you not noticed, that many a times, God causes miracles, breakthroughs and amazing things to happen to us amidst our short comings, inadequacies, and imperfections? And we become humbled by these mighty works because we know perfectly in our hearts that, we did not deserve it at all. At best, most people just break out in tears for the overwhelming nature of Gods grace and love poured out on their lives, looking at where they used to be and where they are now. But that is called grace! You see, it takes Humility to accept and appreciate Grace. Selah.

On the other hand, in most cases too, amidst our self righteousness, good works, prayers, fastings, watching, efforts, discipline and all the other humanly elevated abilities and perfections, we still don't see the hand of God moving mightily in one way or the other in our lives, and we tend to ask God so many questions and yet no answer? This is also a mystery!

But God knows why. He is teaching you patience and humility!

Everything that happens in the believers life amongst many other lessons, is to teach us humility. If you pray to God at one time and there's an instant result, thank God for it and remain humble. At another time, if you pray to God and there seems to be no immediate answers, don't get mad, still thank God, keep trusting and stay humble under his mighty hand.

You need this revelation to be able to walk with God. I've seen so many people giving up on God, giving up on themselves and even giving up on the devil because of pride, yet in their eyes, they think God is the one who failed them.(There's something I wanted to tell such folks here, but the spirit prevents me for now, but I know He will reveal it to any of such folks who read this post, personally).

Paul openly told us a secret in 2Cor 12, that the main reason for the torn in his flesh, was to humble him(so that he will not be lifted up in himself above measure). Yes of coarse, anyone who had his level of anointing, wisdom and revelation into the things of God could easily be puffed up with pride and think he is on top of everybody, see himself as a "superman"(for want of words) or even think he has the power to even control God(unthinkable, but that's what pride can do to a man), yet God wanted him to only trust in his grace alone.

You see, Grace will and must humble you. Now let's read Paul's account, 2Cor 12: 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. You see, God wanted to always bring Paul to his knees to testify that, "But by the grace of God I am what I am 1Co 15:10.

Everybody is humble until their humility is tested. Selah.

OnlyJesus, is our perfect example of humility, which God wants to teach us all, in this life. The Bible says, Jesus, being found in fashion as a man humbled himself unto death. Philip 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. But how did he learn this obedience that led to his perfect humility? It was through the things which he suffered, even as the son of God! Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered. So,Jesus endured sufferings of various kinds and yet he kept trusting and testifying about the father. What have you suffered for the gospel sake? What are you going through that you think God has forsaken you? Paul said, He suffered many things for the gospel sake, yet he counted them but dung for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Philip 3:8. Beloved, no need to be ashamed of Christ for whatever situation that you may find yourself in.

I will not burden you with too many words, but as you grow through life, you will understand that, Life is meant to humble us and not to make us proud. Learning to trust God at all times, is great humility and the key for every godly uplifting.

1Pet 5:5b, be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Grace is given to the humble and not the proud at heart or boastful. 1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

(You need to meditate on this over and over again to comprehend it). God is still teaching us humility today, through good times and bad times, let us be obedient and learn well by still trusting Him.

Look unto Jesus alone!

I believe you are blessed by this?

Let me know. Shalom!

JUSTIFICATION IN CHRIST

To be justified is simply to be declared just or right. It is a legal term signifying acquittal from any charges or offends that were leveled against someone. Hence to be justified is to be declared righteous in the sight of God.  The Bible makes us understand that, this blessing was bestowed on us through the work of Jesus Christ, “who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Now in plain language “Jesus was handed over to be crucified for the forgiveness of our sins and was raised back to life to prove that he had made us right with God!” Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭TPT‬‬.  So you see, Jesus’s main work on earth was to make us right with God! He came to break the barrier of sin that separated us from God and to establish a new relationship between us and the father, on his account,  not on ours! This this the big deal. And He truly finished it.  “One man’s(Adam’s) disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also o

The Gospel of Grace

*The Gospel is also called the Grace of Christ(Gal 1:6). * *You know what, because all that Jesus did for us on the cross can be encapsulated into just one word GRACE! * *Now do yourself some good, by giving yourself some grace too.* JESUS DIED FOR YOU. ©️Aps Clem
