HE (JESUS) IS OUR PEACE -1

HE IS OUR PEACE

The gospel is termed the gospel of peace for very important reasons (see Ephesians 6:15 and Romans 10:15).

First, we need to understand that, the word of God which is the gospel, also means good news! I bet no good news should leave us terrified, perplexed or disturbed, rather a good news must bring peace and assurance of good things into our life.

The gospel is the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to the whole world. And the consciousness of this news brings life and peace to us.

If anyone truly comes to comprehend the gospel of Jesus Christ , such a person would experience the peace of God like never before. This is the kind of peace which Jesus spoke about when he said “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭NLT‬‬.

So you see, knowing Jesus personally brings such an inner peace into your life which no one can in this world. But the question is do you know this gospel and do you have this peace in your heart since you believed? Remember the gospel doesn’t bring fear, anxiety, confusion, uncertainty, unrest, or any such thing, rather peace and a confident expectation of good! Jesus therefore commissioned us to go into the world and preach this gospel of peace to the world 🌎 . (Oh!) “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬/Rom 10:15. Read the scripture carefully again and you’ll see the embodiment of this gospel. Stay blessed.

JUSTIFICATION IN CHRIST

To be justified is simply to be declared just or right. It is a legal term signifying acquittal from any charges or offends that were leveled against someone. Hence to be justified is to be declared righteous in the sight of God.  The Bible makes us understand that, this blessing was bestowed on us through the work of Jesus Christ, “who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Now in plain language “Jesus was handed over to be crucified for the forgiveness of our sins and was raised back to life to prove that he had made us right with God!” Romans‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭TPT‬‬.  So you see, Jesus’s main work on earth was to make us right with God! He came to break the barrier of sin that separated us from God and to establish a new relationship between us and the father, on his account,  not on ours! This this the big deal. And He truly finished it.  “One man’s(Adam’s) disobedience opened the door for all humanity to become sinners. So also o

The Gospel of Grace

*The Gospel is also called the Grace of Christ(Gal 1:6). * *You know what, because all that Jesus did for us on the cross can be encapsulated into just one word GRACE! * *Now do yourself some good, by giving yourself some grace too.* JESUS DIED FOR YOU. ©️Aps Clem
