HE IS OUR PEACE
The gospel is termed the gospel of peace for very important reasons (see Ephesians 6:15 and Romans 10:15).
First, we need to understand that, the word of God which is the gospel, also means good news! I bet no good news should leave us terrified, perplexed or disturbed, rather a good news must bring peace and assurance of good things into our life.
The gospel is the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ to the whole world. And the consciousness of this news brings life and peace to us.
If anyone truly comes to comprehend the gospel of Jesus Christ , such a person would experience the peace of God like never before. This is the kind of peace which Jesus spoke about when he said “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 NLT.
So you see, knowing Jesus personally brings such an inner peace into your life which no one can in this world. But the question is do you know this gospel and do you have this peace in your heart since you believed? Remember the gospel doesn’t bring fear, anxiety, confusion, uncertainty, unrest, or any such thing, rather peace and a confident expectation of good! Jesus therefore commissioned us to go into the world and preach this gospel of peace to the world 🌎 . (Oh!) “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!” Isaiah 52:7 KJV/Rom 10:15. Read the scripture carefully again and you’ll see the embodiment of this gospel. Stay blessed.
